1.Turkey and swiss cheese wrap filled with fresh veggies, like lettuce, tomato, cucumber and shredded carrots. 2. Fruit cup-cut up apples, grapes, strawberries, and bananas and put them in container. Spritz with a bit of lemon juice to keep the fruit fresh. 3. Make your own trail mix with dried fruits and nuts from the bulk bins at many grocery stores. This way you can make it just the way you like it. 4. Put cottage cheese and pineapple in a small container for a slightly sweet yet protein filled snack. 5. Popcorn-put some in individual baggies for those moments when the kids are starving in the car but you don’t want to stop for fast food. 6. Fruit Smoothie-Try one of these delicious smoothie recipes. Put in an insulated thermos and take it with you. 7. Raw vegetables and low-fat Ranch dressing. Toss a small container of the dressing in a bag along with cut fresh vegetables. 8. Rice cakes-They came in all sorts of flavors and are a low calorie, filling snack. 9. String cheese is a low fat snack that pairs well with fresh fruit. Alternatively, you could also wrap a slice of ham or turkey around it as well. 10. Your favorite cereal also tastes great dry. Put some in a small container for snack on the go.
