Hot Mulled Wine PDF Print E-mail

A delicious drink that makes one long for the crisp cool of fall and the taste of winter. Hot mulled wine goes perfectly with a roaring fire, a chill in the air and the company of friends and family.

It is also a great beverage to serve and enjoy during the Holiday season.

Ingredients:

1/2 Gallon Cheap red wine

1 1/2 Cups sugar

3 Cinnamon sticks

1/8 Cup whole cloves

Enough water to dissolve sugar


Heat wine until almost boiling. Dissolve sugar in water. Add sugar, water, cinnamon and cloves to wine. Simmer a while. Do not boil. Great in winter.

Can be kept if strained and refrigerated and re-heat as needed.
