Mashed Garlic Sweet Potatoes PDF Print E-mail
A delicious side for many meals.

Ingedients:
4 large sweet potatoes, scrubbed, peeled and cubed
3 tablespoons unsalted real butter
3 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed
Salt and black pepper to taste
 
How to make it:
 
Place sweet potatoes in a pot of boling water. Cook for 15 minutes or until tender. Drain and set aside. Melt butter in a saucepan and sauté the garlic over medium heat for about 1 to 2 minutes. Stir often so the garlic doesn’t burn.

Pour garlic butter over the sweet potatoes, season with salt and pepper and mash until creamy. Serve warm.

Note: if the mash is too thick, add a little vegetable broth or warm milk to make a creamier texture.
