wrapping paperDon’t throw it out after the presents are opened. You probably spent a good amount of money getting everyone’s presents wrapped. There are many ways you can reuse it again and get your money’s worth. Plus you are a little greener at the same time.

* Save the torn and crumpled wrapping paper and use it to wrap up your ornaments securely. It is less expensive than buying ornament boxes. This way you can store them in one box all together and save space as well.

* Use the wrapping paper to keep special hats and purses in shape when you are not using them. They will look perfect the next time to take them out.

* If you someone who opens your presents carefully, save it and iron it on the non printed side. This will help get the wrinkles out and you are ready to go for next year. You can also save what you can and cut the larger pieces down to wrap smaller presents next time.

* Decorate a bulletin board with your wrapping paper. You can change this seasonally for a festive touch. Save the ribbons as well. You can criss cross them across the board for decoration.

* Use your wrapping paper as shelf liners. After you iron it with the print side down, measure and cut it to fit your shelves. Try stacking several different papers on top of each other. That way, when one layer gets dirty, you can just tear it off and are ready to go with another one underneath.
