The Owners
Jo Jo is the mother of 3 children, keeper of the menagerie, manager of her dh and superintendent of the whole crazy mess. Definitely an East Coast chica(by way of Minnesota), she tells it like it is and how it is. Described as a firecracker by her dh, she is smart, funny, and dedicated. A historian by nature, she is a believer that if you do not learn from the mistakes of the past, you are doomed to repeat them. (Many thanks to my clever husband for describing me.)
Brooke Where to start? I'm a working mom of 2 beautiful boys, Xander and Kyle. I've been married for over 5 years now. My family and I live just outside Chicago, the best city in the world. I love graphic design, even went to college for it. But I didn't do anything in the field for a long time and now I'm finally back into it and designing almost daily. The main programs I use are the Adobe Creative Suite 2 (mainly Illustrator and Photoshop) and Dreamweaver. I'm an Adobe junkie - so much so that I even d/l and watch Photoshop TV. That's just nerdy. I've started my own design business and hope to have that grow into a full-time job. I like a little fluff and a little intelligence and lots of humor.
The Admin
Erika Erika lives across the ocean on the fair isle of Ireland. She is a fiery, determined, passionate, creative musician, wife and mother (amongst other things). Her daughter, little Sasha (aka baba diva), was born August 2006 after many years of trying. She is married to the lovable techie geek, James and they also have a playful feline, Ella. An avid book lover, Erika also works in radio production and takes time out to mess around with computer music.
Jejune (Kristen) Kristen would like to think she's not really jejune, but we all know better. She's the mother of three children: Gabriel, Liam, and Eleanor. When she's not wrangling them she tries to write, attend school, and spend time with her husband, Daniel. She knows many large words and isn't afraid to use them, although her lack of aim and discrimination can lead to casualties. She once accidentally crushed a man with onomatopoeia. Kristen lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and enjoys reading, knitting, and long walks on the beach.
The Moderators
Beka All about Beka? Well, I'm often referred to locally as that earthy mother I would have to say I'm a tree hugger at heart in an English town where "attachment parenting" is a dirty word. I can usually be found wandering around my local town with a small baby attached and at least one toddler in tow. Married to David I have 4 children, the first born in our teens, the final born almost a decade later- needless to say I am a large family advocate having been a mother all my adult life and like to think I do it well. If pushed I would describe myself as down to earth, easy to talk to and often having more going on in my head than there is room for. I've been a stay at home mother for almost ten years now and, although i do have ambition, right now I feel I'll be judged more on how my children turn out than what letters I achieve after my name. The future is long but their childhoods are short and so home is where I am for now.
Danielle
Besides being a mom to two little rugrats and stepmom to a teenager, Danielle works full time as a social worker. Danielle has been married to her husband Bertram for 5 years and they are disgustingly happy (most of the time, lol).Danielle lives in the great white north (Canada) and is really glad they finally figured out how to install high speed internet in igloos (I kid, I kid).
Kristen
Kristen has been happily married to Steve since 1997, and has produced four lovely children with him. She teaches piano students, homeschools her children, and in her spare time works on home remodeling, baking, and scrapbooking. She also is obsessed with being frugal and has been as long as she can remember.

I'm the Town Crier and Moderator of the PCOS and Special Report. This is the first parenting site...really any non-PCOS site, that I've joined. And I'm having a blast!
I'm 33, married for 3 years to CJ, have one beautiful daughter, live in Virginia, USA, outside Washington DC. I'm wonderfully opinionated and loud mouthed. Yes, I think those are some of my more endearing qualities.
