We've not done this in a while and i don't know... maybe we're a board where less of us are still at baby or TTC phase, I'm not sure... but i thought it would be fun.

What will or would you name your next one?

Or if you definitely plan on no more what names you would have loved to use went by the wayside (and will you be happlessly pushing as a grandparent to be :giggle )

We're not planning on another one unless this NuvaRing fails, but if I had a girl, we'd name her Marianna Rose and call her Marianna or Mari for short. I don't know what we'd name a boy, but I'd lean toward something with Nicolas!

Well, we too would need a big V to fail (something I pray for practically every day :D) Without having to convince DH, I'd name a girl Maurica Kathryn-Grace. A boy's name would be more difficult. I like Andrew, Michael, Timothy, Christopher, but I'd like a MN of John (since that was both mine and Dh's maternal's grandfathers' name.)

Definitely not having more children, but if we were, and Brian agreed with my choices ;) they would be either:

Grace Emma
Luke Douglas or Josiah Douglas

Since we clearly do not do boys, the only name we had left was Meredith.

No more here... and I have no names for "just in cases". LOL

Actually, they'd likely be called:

HOLY SHIT! and NO #$%@ing WAY!

Oh Danielle that's too funny!

For a girl, either Anneliese or Elizabeth. For a boy, Josiah or Micah.

Ditto; additionally dh might suggest THE POSTMAN'S KID. :giggle

If there was a miracle and I got pg and it was a boy I'd be stuck in the same situation I always am; namely that there are very few boys' names I like well enough to consider. I love, love, LOVE the name Eli, but you can't very well have Eliza and Eli. I like Levi but doubt dh would go for it. I'd probably strongly consider Jude, for the Beatles-reference-factor, esp. since that was my and dh's song. :)

For a girl I'd definitely be thinking about Juliet (it was on the list for Eliza and I still think it would've suited her). However, I'm one of those types that is never 100% sure of the name till after the baby arrives, so....??

We're undecided on a fourth, or rather, whether we have a fourth or not depends entirely on our finances in the future, but names are always something I'm thinking of. We have three favorite possibilities for boys leftover from when we had Nora: Simon Alexei, Marcus Alexei, or Judah Sebastian. If we had a girl, it'd be tougher. My favorite name is Anna Sophia, nicknamed Anya, but I'm also drawn to Alice, Edith, Clara, and Rosemary. Josephine is my current favorite middle name. I also like Zillah a lot, but it's off the table. Mr. Jejune loves Rosemary, Sophia, and a "few others I've heard you mention". (He loves nicknames for girls, so I know that part of why he loves the first two are because he can imagine calling a little girl Rosie or Sophie.)

Oh, heck, I could make a big long list, and would, if I felt like there was a need. I love names.

By the way, when I asked Mr. Jejune about what names he's liking lately, he said, "Why, are you pregnant?" Eek!

LOL Maybe we should go with "Daddy finally finished his freaking dissertation" here. ;)

Assuming Sean ever finishes and feels ready to try for another, we somehow decided on Dinah Grace for a girl. Sean really loves the name Dinah (pronounced like Dinah Washington, not Dinah the biblical rape victim ;)), and it grew on me.

We have no idea what we'd name a boy. I think we were leaning towards Andrew at one point, but I'm not sure if we still are.

My brain will not compute. I am completely finished having children. Somebody please tell DH that I am finished, and to PLEASE go get a vasectomy. It doesn't make him old!! He forgets he is only 29 years old, I don't understand his thought process.

I have no names for a girl. If I had a boy my thought would be Cullen Wiley.

Tegan if i ever meet him I'll be sure to tell him!

I am :lmao @ "Postmans child B" and "Holy sh!t"

I still have the lingering Williams in me but it really doesn't work with our surname, nor the other four names now :rolleyes

Still adore Tate and Reid for girls but David doesn't :sigh

Nicholas, Christian and Alexander have come up each pg but not made it past the get-go as have Jonah, Jonas, Lucas, Lucien, Fabian and Isander.

Overall though i am sensing we're not due a babyboom here at spiffy anytime soon :rofl

Well we are undecided about a 4th and if do have one DH and I don't agree on names LOL. But If I had my choice if we had a girl she would be named Anya or Sherridan.

If it was a boy Keegan Anthony

Do we have even one Spiffy member that's considering a future child? :giggle

There are a few names that I would have loved to use. My first choice is Lorien. That's been a favorite of mine forever. Also Ayla (doesn't sound good with Kailyn), Emma, Lily and Olivia. Grace would most likely be the middle name with any of those.

My favorite boys name would have been David Frederick, but Dave had his heart set on Jonathan Jamey J. That would have caused a pretty big battle here!

This one will be called Esme :)

Es-mee, not Es May.

And no, it's not after her from twilight :)

Beka

ohhh my grannys boyfriend had a sister named Esme (pronounced with the meeee sound not may too) and she is lovely!

I think it goes lovely with the other names you have Sam (incidentally my grans boyfriends name was Jack so his mom must have thought Esme went well with Jack too :D )

Christine I know we definitely have Polly and also Faithkemp (fairly sure she is still going through treatments when she posts?)

Sam that is a beautiful name! :)

Beka, Lucien is my all time favourite boys name. I just love it and am slowly working on James regarding it. So far I've got him agreeing to use it as a middle name.

As it stands, this baby will probably be our last considering how much hassle I'm having regarding my blood issues. So nows the time to get my names out there.

Names I LOVE but that have already been axed include Sadhbh, Cora and Naomi (:(). We have a tentative boys name (not telling) but it could still change.

I'm keeping an eye on this thread for ideas!

Cora always makes me think Titanic. Lucien, Fabian and Cassian all made it to my list for Chase but got a big hell-no from David... especially Fabian which means bean grower apparently :sigh Chase was very nearly Lucilla though.

I loved Isaiah but SIL has an Isabel who is called Izzy and 2 Izzys in one family wouldn't work.

For a boy, I love Crispin and so does DH, but we can't use it with our last name. I also really like Sebastian and Matthias.

For girls, I love Emily (but it is too popular now), Eleanor, and Violet. I really like Welsh girls' names, but DH was exactly excited about them: Gwendolyn, Bronwyn, Guenevere.

I've been feeling that baby tug since my youngest went to kindy this year, but I am trying to refocus on my career.

For a girl I like Chiara and Francesca...If I had another boy Id name him Mads

We have similar taste, apparently.. Crispin was knocked from my lists since it's too close to my own name, but both Sebastian and Matthias have been high on the boys' lists. And of course, I have an Eleanor. :)

No more babies here, but I would choose Seamus Timothy for a boy, and Maeve Christine for a girl.

No future babies here and I would have a heck of a time coming up with any girls names that I like that fit with the girl's names. I'm fairly certain I wouldn't have to worry about boy names b/c like some of the others here, I seem incapable of producing boy offspring!

Who knows what my future holds? :)

For a girl, I really like the names Emily Grace or Chloé Noelle and I already have a son with my favorite boys name but if I were to have another I like the name Nathan Christopher

HOLY SHIT! would be appropriate here also. LOL I LOVED that Danielle. If we still had the quote option on the boards, I'd put that in it. :giggle

The girl name would NEVER fly with Eric but I don't care. If we ever had a girl, I would name her Cecilia Marie.

Cecilia is my fave girl name and it was actually his grandmother's middle name. I never knew that was until after she passed away. I knew we called her Cel but I never realized why. LOL And keeping with our family tradition for middle names, any girl we have would have Marie.

Boys name, we would finally use Tristan. I wanted to name Xander that and I am still a tad bitter that we backed out of it and didn't use it. And his last name would be James, like the other two.

We've decided this one is our last one. The names we have picked are:

Girl: Norah Marinda
Boy: Van Patrick

Both are variations of family names. Norah is the female version of Norbert(my dads name). Marinda is (martha and linda put together which is my mom and his moms names.

Van is after my great grandfather. His last name was Vannice. We always called him grandpa Van. Patrick is of course after my husband but also my uncle.

So - other than the few that already ARE expecting and a few 'hopefuls' but 'not likely gonna happens' I'd say Spiffy Moms is not expecting any more babies anytime soon! LOL

I have no freaking clue- we never discussed names at all til I was in labor....although, if Treyce had been a girl, his middle name WOULD have been Dawn - after me - I Am the only one in the family who does not have a kid named after me! The first name we really liked was Tayleen.

Xanthe and Sirona are right up there on my girls names list, and Zeke and Lucian are on my boy list.

Just gotta find the other half to produce them.

The quote option works for me...
