Not sure I spelled that right?!!?! LOL

Has anyone used a mediator to resolve issues with the other parent? If so how did it work and did you feel it helped?

We didn't use attorneys at ALL for our divorce, we went solely through a mediator. He was great and I would HIGHLY recommend him.... not that I would hope anyone else gets divorced, though :(

Well I am beginning to think I may need to go this route, to resolve some issues with ex. I think if we talked about the issue with a non-biased 3rd party it would go so much better!

WELL, his mom had this grand idea last summer that she would lend herself as a sounding board for the two of us. WHOA did that backfire when he accused us of being feminists out to ruin the lot of men (with him being 1st on our list) :rofl Mediation wouldn't work with him because he's a narcissist... nothing is wrong with him, EVER!

I'm an attorney - and I would definitely recommend trying mediation, if both parties are willing. It can be much less expensive and heartbreaking for the parties and the kids. I'm hoping to get trained as a mediator in the next year or so. :)
