Not really surprising. And we are getting them in small doses everywhere. It all adds up, I suppose.

I can buy into that- i don't think it excuses total responsibility from the obese for their own state of health & size but it is believable, when ttc i looked alot of the effects of processed foods upon the body & fertility and that is quite startling (i went from assisted conception needed for Jude to naturally conceived Dyl, Loki and 3 lost pregnancies when using strict dietary control which stripped out all processed foods and sugars)

David was mentioning this the other day- his firm has a large % of immigrant workers (legal ones) from Poland at present and he mentioned how all the women are thin- significantly thinner than british women are and when talking to one of them (she is really keen to improve her English so she can get a better level of job) she told David in her opinion it is the availability of convenience processed foods at affordable prices, in Poland she can't afford them with her wage vs food prices on luxury foods.
