So come say hi and ask her lots of fun questions :D
You are free to ask anything (although Christine can decide not to answer some LOL). SO if there is anything you've ever wanted to know about her, now is the time to ask ;)

Hey Christine!
How different do you think you'd be if you had 4 boys, instead?
Where were you when you found out you were pg with each of your girls?
What's your favorite thing to do on a lazy Saturday afternoon? (you can choose the weather)
hellooooo (brave lady you LOL)
What would your ideal child-free vacation be?
Theme parks- whizzy round & round rides or upside down ones?
If you weren't married to Dave and could chose a Hollywood husband who would it be? (and why)

You have no idea how scared I was to open this thread! :rofl
How different do you think you'd be if you had 4 boys, instead?
I'd either be a total basketcase or really, really good at staying calm and ignoring the physicality of most boys. I also know, honestly, that I'd feel like something was missing because I've always wanted to have a daughter.
Where were you when you found out you were pg with each of your girls?
We were living in Charlotte at the time. I was totally naive to the possibility of infertility so I just assumed we'd try and we'd be pregnant. That's exactly what happened too. I remember waking up Dave, who had fallen asleep on the couch, to tell him we were pregnant with Morgan.
With Kailyn, we had just moved into a place in the middle of the country. I don't remember exactly where I was when I found out, but she was planned and I had to wait a couple months.
Nicole was a HUGE surprise! I was standing in my friend's kitchen after helping her through surgery when I realized I hadn't had AF since before her surgery. I went and bought an HPT and took it, but waited a few days to tell Dave. I was so freaked out because I had a 9 month old baby at the time and it just was NOT a convenient time to have another baby. I remember being very depressed about the pregnancy for a couple months too. :(
Danielle was another surprise, although not as big as Nicole! I took an HPT and came onto the computer to tell everyone! :giggle
What's your favorite thing to do on a lazy Saturday afternoon? (you can choose the weather) I don't think we've ever HAD a lazy Saturday! The best times are when we're camping and we're just hanging around not caring about the time or what's on TV or who's calling. :D

What would your ideal child-free vacation be?
Easy. We'd go to Italy and see all the beautiful Renaissance paintings, frescoes and sculptures that I fell madly in love with in college. I'm dying to see anything by Michaelangelo (preferably the Pieta) before I die.
Theme parks- whizzy round & round rides or upside down ones?
I can NOT do upside down and Dave can't do whizzy round and round (which I love). I much prefer spinning to dropping or being upside down!
If you weren't married to Dave and could chose a Hollywood husband who would it be? (and why)
:giggle Well, I'm madly infatuated with Ewan McGregor and everything that man does gives me goosebumps.

What is the best thing about having a house full of girls?
I have a lot of fun doing the girly things and seeing them go through and experience things that I remember from my childhood. I also look forward to a day when we can all be friends with each other.
If you had a boy what would his name be?
Dave would have pushed for Jonathan Jamey after his brothers. But I would have fought him for David Frederick after dh and my Grampy.
What is your favorite way to spend your alone time with Dave?
Most of the time, our dates are spent watching a good movie and having takeout. The best time we've had together in a long time, though, was spent in the minivan at the end of the driveway. My mom was watching the kids and we didn't really feel like going anywhere. We bought a box of wine :rofl and parked at the end of the driveway and just talked for a couple hours. :D
Do you think it is possible that men who go by Dave and not David only have x sperm?:giggle
Has your life turned out differently than you imagined? Where did you think you would be now when you were growing up?

Yes I do! :lmao
Has your life turned out differently than you imagined? Where did you think you would be now when you were growing up?
I don't think I ever had a real set idea of what I would be when I grew up. I knew vaguely that I wanted kids and a husband that loved me and was loyal to me. I wanted a happy home life where the kids were valued for who they are, not what the parents want them to be. So, by those calculations, I'm exactly where I dreamed of being.
When Dave and I first started out, though, I would never have imagined us growing up so well together and becoming so compatible. I imagined that our lives would always be stressful, we'd always be struggling and we just aren't and it's very, very nice. :D

What's your favorite song of all time?
That's a hard one for me. I was raised on the Beatles and their music still touches me deeply. My favorite then, and one that still makes me stop and get all sentimental, is "Maybe I'm Amazed" - specifically the live concert version of Paul McCartney and Wings in 1976. I love that song!
There are songs more recently that I adore too. My favorite right now is probably "Thief" by Third Day.
If you had to rename all of your girls, what would they be called?
I had to? That's hard!
Morgan was always going to be Morgan - from the time I was 15. So I really can't imagine changing her name.
Kailyn would be Ayla Grace.
Nicole would be Olivia Noel.
Danielle would be Lorien something-or-other.
Name a meal that you think you definitely cook well!
Dave is always happy when I make a big turkey dinner with all the trimmings, so I'll put that. ;)

What is your favorite thing about each of the girls?
Man you guys are really bringing on the hard questions!
Morgan - She is a very compassionate child and willing to do anything for anyone. Her heart breaks for people she doesn't even know and I just think that's an amazing quality to possess! She wants to be a missionary and a mom and I know she'll be fabulous at both.
Kailyn - She is a tough little cookie. She struggles so much with her speech issues and has a really hard time getting people to understand her. But she never gets frustrated by it. She just tries another way to be understood. She works very hard and just doesn't get discouraged easily. I just know that she'll be able to overcome any hardship that's put in her life.
Nicole - She feels things very strongly. This is her best AND worst feature and one that her and I share. When she's happy, the whole world is sunshine and roses. She loves deeply, she sings loudly, she daydreams, she dances, and she loves to make people laugh. She's a very passionate little soul.
Danielle - She's a knucklehead. Really. She's just the funniest, most loving little girl and gets people to fall in love with her everywhere we go. She's just her own little person.
What is your favorite Bible verse or story?
I love the story of Paul's conversion. I just love that God took someone who hated him with so much passion and turned him into the greatest missionary this world has known. It humbles me and reminds me that anything - absolutely anything - is possible.
Who do you find to be the most inspirational to you in your life (can be from the Bible, history, friends, family, anything)?
Probably Dave. I know that sounds cheesy but I really do admire who he is and where he pulled himself from. He came from a really messed up homelife but instead of following the path you'd expect (like all his brothers and step-siblings) he carved his own path. He decided to rise above his circumstances and do better for his kids than what was done for him. I admire him greatly for that!
What is something you really want to do that you haven't done yet?

What is something you really want to do that you haven't done yet?
Hmmm... There are a lot.
I'd love to climb Mt. Washington as an adult, with my husband. It's something I had to do as a child and my memories of it are not very pleasant. I'd like to remake those memories.
I want to go in a shark cage. You know those big metal boxes that hang off the back of a boat in chum filled water? Yeah, that.
I desperately want to go to Italy and see the Pieta.
I want to travel the US in an RV with Dave - and the girls if I can do it while they're still young.
That's a good start. ;)

What do you do to help you grow in your faith?
What's your favorite part of the Bible?

What do you do to help you grow in your faith?
I have a really hard time staying passionate in my faith, but when I'm passionate about it is when I'm growing. I love to get into a really good Bible study - whether in my SS class (that I co-teach) or in my Wed. night class. I love being challenged and working through questions I have and both of those forums are excellent for that! When I'm closest to the Lord, though, is when I'm being active in prayer and when I'm singing to Him. It's very important to me that when I sing, at home or in the praise team, that He is my audience.
What's your favorite part of the Bible?
I'm not very well versed in the Bible yet, but I do love the Psalms and Paul's letters.
It looks like all the heavy questions are taken care of, so bring on the fluff.
What are you knitting right now?
Favourite yarn?
What do you next plan to knit?

What are you knitting right now?
I've got several projects going right now. A dark gray wool sweater for Dave, a striped cotton dress for Kailyn, a pair of variegated orange, yellow and blue socks for Morgan, a felted phone holder for ME, and a fair isle baby sweater - although it's in acrylic and I'm not liking the way it's puckering.
Favourite yarn?
Out of what I've worked with so far, I'm loving the 100% wool. I'm dying to try some of the higher quality yarns, like Noro (I have my eye on a felted Noro bag) or something with mohair in it. Silk would be a nice one, or bamboo. I'd really love to try any natural yarns. I think I'm becoming a yarn snob on a discount bin budget! :giggle
What do you next plan to knit?
I'm trying not to think too far ahead. I have several pattern books and yarns in the wings ready to be plucked for use. I'll have to see what gets me the most excited.
