Ok, so some of you may have seen this. There's someone posting on a number of parenting boards, asking people to submit and vote for names for her baby, and she'll name the little girl ANYTHING that wins. I think this is a pretty bad idea, and anyone who disagrees may change their mind when they hear that Lacy Thong is currently winning, but Moxie Crimefighter ain't too many places behind. There are many lovely names on the list, but my favorite is the catchy NAME IT YOURSELF!

Other joke names submitted include Chuck Norris, Baby Jeebus, and the daring Asdf Jkl;. You don't often see a semi-colon in a name.
Lacy Thong is so far ahead, I'm not sure anything can be done.

Yeah. I just wish the punishment was bestowed on the parents, not the baby. Poor little Lacy Thong didn't ask for this. I think mom should have to legally change her name to Lacy Thong.
I've only voted once, and for NAME HER YOURSELF!!! I just like classic names like that.

Hmmmm... i agree with Kristen, people who chose joke names should have to have them bestowed upon themselves to see how hilarious they find it then! (my sister once seriously dated a man called Nicholas Ryder- with our accent it sounds like Knickerless rider and in england ones knickers are ones panties :shakehead .... his parents must have really loved him, mine certainly didn't as he was my sisters lecturer :eek and she bought him home as a date!!!)

I knew someone whose surename was Landy. He wanted to name his daugher Wynter Wonder and the other daughter Alison

Omg. :rofl That is so funny. I do feel badly for poor Lacy though. I hate whenparents do joke names like that. So unfair to the kids being stuck with the awful names their parents choose for them. My mother once substituted two twins named Orangello and Lemonjello (the mom named her kids after the flavors of jello she had in the hospital. :rolleyes I seriously want to know what kind of drugs they were giving her there and why I didn't get any of them when I had my kids. :rofl)
ETA: That I like Anastasia Isabelle :) But it is too far behind to win. So I voted for number 2 trying to save the poor girl from being named Lacy Thong
