I bought my first car when I was 18.
i am 28 in a few weeks and have still never owned a working car

My brother gave me his car when I was 20, the motor blew up on us on a road trip about 3 months later. I actually bought my own about a month after that, it was a '93 GMC Jimmy :)

It was the month I turned 21. Dave bought it for me a month before we were married. I ran that thing into the ground too!
I was so lucky, because my grandparents had a tradition of getting a new car every four years, and giving the old one to the next grandchild in line. So, I got a four-year-old Ford Escort hatchback a little before I turned 18. It was a terrific car.

I was 15 and I bought it with my own money that I had saved from working and b-day money, etc. I was so proudLOL

I used the family car, designated for me, in hs but my first honest-to-goodness car was right after college while I was in Texas and it was in Utah. I was moving to Utah and needed a car when I got there. The car dealer picked me up from the airport. It was a Saturn dealership and have bought and/or owned a Saturn since then. I must have been 22.

After I got married LOL My family lived in the middle of the city and we really didn't need a car to get around, so I never saw a need, though I got my license when I was 18.

22 when I learned how to drive I bought a piece of junk to drive around.

I was 17 and it was a brand new fiat...but it stayed parked in my house for a couple months till I could drive...
