Stranded!

Okay folks, here's the deal...

You're going to be stranded on a desert island for 1 year and you HAVE to take 2 people with you.

Here are the rules:

1. You cannot choose your dh or kids.

2. You have to know the person IRL (no Brad Pitt, sorry ladies :D this IS the Family, Friends and Lovers board ;)).

Who are you taking and why?

I'll get started....

I'm taking my sister because we get along great and I wouldn't kill her after a week. LOL

I'm also taking my uncle Marvin because he has extensive military training and could likely help us to survive.

Originally I thought I'd take my 2 girl friends, Taria and Staci because we could really do with some time away together....but after reading your response, I'm going to change my answer.

I want to take my Uncle Gerry, because he's a retired Air Force guy who knows how to fix...like EVERYTHING LOL and probably my girlfriend Tonya....we both get SO little time away from our DH's and children...plus, I don't think she's drive me crazy and we'd have things to keep each other busy and to talk about...my sister and I would run out of things to talk about, as we do our best talking in the car LOL

My friend Bre, because I love her and we don't ever get on each other's nerves.

My friend Priscilla, because she's a nurse (we'd be safe in a medical emergency!) and she's super calm.

And, they are soooooooooo different and probably have totally opposite opinions about everything, so their discussions would provide me with a lot of entertainment. :)

I would probably bring Jo and my Dad. I think the two of them would be fabulously entertaining and help me city-slicker-ass with survival too. LOL

My aunt Lili because she is the bestest and I would not get tired of having her around and my cousin Bruno because he is funny and we get along very well...Id love to take my dad but hed whine way too much in a desert island

Ugh. The person I know who would survive best in that environment is Dave!

In that case, I'd pick Jordan and Corey - the two closest friends that I NEVER get to see. :D

hmmm... now you really do have me thinking.

My sisters bestmate Karl would be the most logical because he's been in the army since he was 16- he's a useful man to have around survival wise and after that long in that career the man has endless stories (most absolutely hilarious from his days on leave around the world) and he also has the confidence that would reassure anyone they're going to be rescued (very good at talking people down from panic state)

And.... errrmm... this is so much harder having to be people i know personally! LOL Errrrrm...

My old bestfriend Pete because we have alot of catching up to do from the last 12 years, we drifted alot when I had Chase, we drifted even more when he met & bought a house with a woman who prides herself on not being child orientated, it'd be good to catch up without the distraction of our lives

Good question Danielle.

I would choose my friend Jill as we would have lots of riveting conversations. Plus she really keeps a cool head.

Secondly...hard one. It would be a toss up between my friend Aoife as she is a scream and we get on very well, my friend Lizzy because I've known her forever and we would end up singing and dancing the time away, and my friend Jay who is a competitive archer - good with hunting skills.

But it is a pity that James couldn't be invited as he is well read on survival tips and could keep us going during the time stranded.

Both of my sisters. They are amongst my favorite people. Plus Marie is an RN and could keep us alive :giggle

I would take my friend Tracy because we are so much alike and I miss her terribly when we are apart, we have a lot to catch up on.
2nd I would probably take my sister Cheryl because she is a nurse and she's about the only other person besides Tracy I could stand being with for that long without wanting to kill:)
