OMG this morning sickness is horrible. I feel like I shouldn't complain but oh wow. I don't get sick. I kind of wish I would as then I think I might feel better at least for a short while. I just feel nausia all day long.

My lemon drops aren't really helping anymore. I got some ginger ale yesterday and it worked a little but now is doing nothing. I called off yesterday as it was so bad and I had a headache. Now it's bad again but I really can't leave for the day.

I just need to remind myself that it will go away ( I hope)

You have my sympathy- my Chase pg was evil for migraine and violent sickness, i lived on ginger biscuits and sipping water!

Sniffing lemon is meant to help (although you do look a tad odd being "that lemon woman" with half a citrus in her purse :lmao) seabands- the accupressure ones for seasickness help some people.

thanks ladies. I've been sipping my ginger ale and it seems to be helping a bit. I may make it to the store and get some ginger snaps. I like them and I bet they would help.

I just wasn't prepared for this. I never had it bad with the other ones.

Are you using natural ginger ale? Here's a weird idea from one of the midwives at the practice I went to when I was PG. Get a slurpee of regular Coke (caffeine free, if possible) or make your own by freezing and then blending your soda. Sucking on this on and off for about three hours is supposed to help. And the metabolized sugar gives you energy.

huh I'll have to give that a try Polly. I've just been using Vernors ginger ale which has helped a bit. I feel a bit better this afternoon. Even well enough to have some chicken fried rice for lunch. Hopefully it's settled for the rest of the day.

I used the sea bands....they helped and weren't too expensive ($7 at Walmart, I think...you need to ask at the counter).

The other thing I found that worked was Trident gum...I used the peppermint whitening stuff...because it was the only kind tha tI could stomach...went back to school at 10 weeks pregnant with teh WHITEST teeth I've ever had LOL...HOpe you're feeling better, but reveling (sp) in the nausea

thanks. I may give the gun a try. I noticed that the wintergreen mints I like seem to help as well.
