I mean, really believe they are honest about their positions and not just saying what they think people want to hear? Or are you just resigned to voting for a political party candidate because the party comes closest to your views? (Even if you don't like the candidate.)

Nope, I don't like any of them. I will simply be voting against whoever the Democratic candidate winds up being.
I like both Obama and Clinton. I think they both have great platforms that I can totally get behind. Not ideal, but both have platforms that are better than anything we've seen in a very long time. I've actually come to see this as a really exciting election, because I can't remember the last time there was ONE candidate I felt actually represented policies and values I could get behind, and this time there's two.
I don't really care if their platforms are what they really believe or what they think people want. As long as they do the stuff they say they'll do, I'll be happy. ;)
I dont really like any of them - dont like politicians lol

Aahhh...we are the mistrustful Watergate generation!
I don't believe McCain, Clinton, or Obama speak the honest truth. But, would people really want to hear it?

You know, I don't believe what politicians say because I think they're just saying what they think we want to hear. And aren't they? Don't they all say the right things? Then they get into office and make excuses for why they can't do all the things they said they would when all along they knew it wouldn't be easy or in their best political interest to do those things anyway. It's not just them but those in Congress as well and they have to work together to get things done. And how successful has that been in the last few decades?
