So, Zoe is one...a little late, but I have pictures!

Zoe turned one on February 18th(a birthday she shares with Steve :D) Unfortunately, she and her daddy were both sick on their birthday! Zoe had a cold, and Steve had a worse cold, so we had to stay home from church. And instead of a nice birthday dinner, we had chicken noodle soup. :p But, I did make a one-layer chocolate cake for Zoe, because it seemed wrong to not have a cake on a first birthday! She wasn't too sure about it at first, but after a bite or two, she decided this cake stuff was definitely edible.

I made her cake photos sepia, because her poor little eyes were all red from her cold, and she looked cuter this way than in color. :giggle

There's also a few of the three girls there, and also a random one of our house. I don't know why it got uploaded to the album, but I just left it. :p I took it in the snow, at dusk, without a flash, and so it is an awful, grainy picture, but at least you can see where we live.

Kristen, your kids are just stunningly beautiful! Zoe is just such an adorable little mousling. I want to squeeze her! And Sonia has gotten so grown up looking and so pretty! I can't believe how long Elise's hair is. Joshua looks like a big guy now!

Thank you, Kristen. Zoe IS so squeezable. :giggle and yeah, Sonia has really gotten to be grown-up looking lately....not so much a toddler anymore, you know?

I'm actually taking Lisey to get her hair cut in a week or two. We're growing her bangs out, and so I want to cut a good bit of her hair off, to cut down on the time it'll take for her bangs to catch up to the rest of her hair. I hate to do it, because she has lovely hair(I wish *I* had hair like Lisey! LOL), but I think it'll be for the best.

And yup, Joshua is getting to be such a....kid! I dunno...sometimes I look at him, and it just hits me that I have this...kid! He's not a toddler or preschooler or kindergartener. He's an honest-to-goodness kid. I don't know...that sounds kind of dumb, but you probably know what I mean. It's just weird to realize how big my first-born is getting.

Ah yes...my fellow split-foyer owner. :giggle I don't know that I've ever seen a pic of your current house. You're probably like me, thinking, "Oh, I'll share pics when it's done.". LOL

Lori-if you think Zoe and Sonia look alike, you really should see some baby pictures of Lisey. Zoe is the SPITTING image of Lisey. It is serious deja vu for me when she wears Lisey's hand-me-downs. LOL

:giggle Jennee! Steve's birthday is the same day and he was turning 36. So we put 9 candles(3 candles and 6 candles, to represent 36), and then 1 candle for Zoe. :p

Erika, thank you! I do love Sonia's blue eyes....I try to dress her in blue as often as possible, because that brings out the lovely color of her eyes. Blue clothes are hard to find for little girls, though!
