As I sit here watching Dr. Who, I am reminded just how much a LOVE the theme tune. IT is definately one of my favourites. Fraggle Rock is another favourite tv theme tune.
I quite like the in-show music for the new Battlestar Galactica as well.
So what are your favourite TV theme tunes?

This is going to be so juvenile, but I love the theme song for The Backyardigans. :bagover: Every time it's on, I sing along.
When I was in college, there was a competition amongst the sororities and fraternities called "Sweetheart Sing". Each house did a different 'skit', charged admission which was all donated to charity and won the trophy for the year. My freshman year, the theme was "Tv theme songs" and our house actually won. Because of this, I will always have a soft spot in my heart for the theme songs for: The Andy Griffith Show, The Jeffersons and Friends. There was another song in there, but I forget what it was. LOL
