Yesterday we went to the zoo and on the way Cailin saw a billboard for the ballet of Where the Wild Things Are. I (stupidly) agreed to check into tickets for it. HAHAHA! Silly human- every semi-reasonably priced ticket was sold out and they were like $100 per seat. Yikes! Then we got home and I had a flyer for the musical of the Little Mermaid. Guess how much that costs? $35 for crappy seats at the matinee all the way up to $80. Apparently I'm just really out of touch with the local theater stuff.
Is that normal for your area? I haven't checked prices for anything other than Disney on Ice or Sesame Street Live lately, and I wouldn't even pay for those LOL
