View Full Version : Comfy Socks
I finished the Comfy Socks (http://www.knittingdaily.com/freepatterns/legwear/26-1.html). They are, as advertised, comfy. They're also really fast to knit and extremely warm. I've been wearing them around the house.
I tried to get a shot of them that showed as much of the socks as possible without revealing that I haven't shaved my legs in about a month. ;)
Nice!
Enjoy warm, striped feet!

I love them! I had to go and download the pattern.
What yarn did you use?
I used Knitpicks Wool of the Andes Bulky. They took about 1-1/2 skeins.

I was checking out the pattern on Ravelry and it looks like a lot of people have made them with double stranded worsted. I'm thinking this would be a great stashbuster project for the wool I bought and haven't used. :D

Oh I wish I knew how to knit. I'd just knit socks all day. I LOVE comfy socks, I live for them.

Goodness - how did I miss responding here? Those are super cute! Fast socks are fun. I just knit some worsted weight socks for Daniel and I found that my sock hatred is really lessened when they go so fast. LOL I need new around the house slippers. Perhaps I will have to take these ones on.

They do look comfy. I made a pair of thick socks like that and painted squiggles with puffy fabric paint on the bottom. That way I could wear them around the house and not break my ass in the kitchen or hall. Not sure what happened to them though.
