Anybody's preschoolers have a VSmile? Do they like it and "get" it? How often/much do you let them play? What games do they have?

Yep the boys got one for Christmas and they love it. Caleb doesn't really "get" most of the stuff just pushes buttons. :rofl But Dylan who is 4 1/2 loves it and is able to play the games without needing too much help every now and then he has a bit of trouble with jumping over large gaps. We have the one that came with it, Cars, Spiderman and Friends, Lion King and Toy Story.

Yes, David has one and he loves it! We have The Wiggles game and the one that comes with it and he plays both. He plays his about 1 hr daily and he's good about knowing when he's had enough so we haven't had to set too many limits with it.

We had considered this one at Christmas time. Isn't it one of the ones that hooks up to the TV? We opted for the Leapster instead (for our 5 year old) and she loves it!

The kids got one for Christmas and they're junky! The first one busted after a week so we exchanged for another, and now the new one is giving us trouble too. As far as ability, I think Cailin would have been able to play the very first level of games as a preschooler. We have Cars, Winnie the Pooh, Scooby Doo, Little Mermaid. They both like all of them but obviously Brayden is too little to actually get it.

My mother has it for the grandkids. My niece also has one (she's 4 1/2yrs). She uses it with ease. Ds (4 1/2 as well) struggles a bit but really just loves to press buttons and make things go. He's learning but he does't use it very often. Maybe once a month at most. Dd, 3, just likes to bother her brother when he plays with it.

We got Taj the Leapster instead, we liked it better. He loves it even more than we thought he would and he would play it constantly if we let him! The games are educational and he's awesome at them! He pretty much taught himself how to do it all. He has 4 games right now, Cars (that came with it), Spongebob, Backyardigans and Dora. He's getting Thomas the Tank Engine and Mr. Pencil's Learn to Draw & Write for his birthday next month:D He wants the Kindergarten one too but we couldn't find it anywhere so just got the other two.

Reanna has the Leapster L-Max....and plenty of games to go with. It also hooks up to the tv. I've never "played" with the v-smile, so I can't speak for it that much. Reanna definitely LOVES the leapster!
