She has started solids

And it was hilarious. Yesterday we gave her some mashed apple and well, you would think we were giving her poo with the faces she made :lmao

But today I added some baby rice and we strained the apple through a sieve. And she DEVOURED it. She had the whole bowlful (2 heaped tablespoons of apple and a teaspoon of baby rice). She kept trying to grab the spoon out of my hand if I wasn't getting it to her mouth quickly enough. It was adorable. I took pics and when I transfer them to the PC, I'll post them :)

Thanks jo. But it is official. She HATES apple. I gave her more apple than baby rice this morning and she wasn't impressed at all. She made gagging sounds, horrible faces and then refused to open her mouth. So I didn't push it. But when Aoife (Flowermum) gave her a spoonful of potato and carrot, she gobbled it down like it was the best thing she had ever tasted! Typical! She just doesn't like me feeding her LOL

But she also gobbled down some baby rice tonight so at least she is interested. TOmorrow we try sweet potato.

The boys found apples to be too sweet when they first started off :)
