Can you phone or email or IM, or does his work(or yours) not allow for that?

I can call Steve, email him, or talk to him on my Igoogle page, so he's pretty available. I'm spoiled!! LOL

He can do all the same for me except when I'm working. I can't exactly do anything else while I'm teaching piano.

i work in the same company as him.. just different department. We often take breaks together if they are scheduled at the same time and use the interoffice msn system to chat

We talk on the phone or e-mail. I`m not allowed to use any IM programs so that`s the only thing we can`t do.

Yep, we talk quite a bit.

We could talk on the phone sometimes, but we really don't unless he needs to know something right then.

Dh spends most of his days driving around. So unless he's at a destination or in any area where he doesn't get phone service, we can talk. We usually talk at least 2-3 times a day, and we are both addicted text messagers.

we talk on the phone and email, but most days I am so busy and in so many meetings that I don't get a chance to talk to him at all. No IM since we use an intercompany MSN Messenger. When he is working, I don't talk to him unless he is on his way home....or on a break. He is fairly active with coaching or driving from site to site.

This is us, as well.

The judges would probably frown on his cell phone ringing in the middle of a hearing so he keeps it turned off unless he's gone to lunch or has a while between cases. ;) He doesn't really call to chitchat but that's because I call him every night and we get caught up then. He will call, though, if he needs me to do something, or if he sees that I tried to call him and he missed it.

We can only talk by phone. I usually only call him if I need an question answered, but he'll call me just to talk. I love talking to him during the day.

It depends on what we're doing. When I'm teaching, obviously I can't stop my class to have a conversation with him. ;) I do leave my cell phone on when I'm teaching, but only in the case of an emergency call from Thomas' school. And, semesters when Sean's teachinga class, which he is this coming term, I can't talk to him during class, either.

But, most of the day, I can talk to him. If he's in a meeting or running a subject he can't talk, but most of the time he's working at his computer, and we can IM over Google Talk. I can also call the lab, but I generally IM instead of phoning, just because I feel like it's less disruptive. But if I need to ask him something and he's not online, I can call and it's no problem at all.

Sometimes he has days at work when he's the only one in the lab and there's not much to do, and he wants to IM all day!

well, since DH is on a train, cell is the only way to contact him. I try to keep calling to a minimum...seeing if he's done or has an idea of when he'll be home, problem, etc. He has called to say he's sitting somewhere doing nothing waiting for clearance...but not often during the school year as I'm working then. I can't use IM at school since it's websensed...

Yep.

He calls when it is slow. I CAN call him but I usually don't because he is the supervisor and it would look bad if he got lots of calls from his wife during the day. But I will call if I need to.

I can also reach him by email. He is constantly checking his work email account during the day.

He calls me from his cell throughout the day. I can tell when they aren't busy because he calls ALOT!! :lmao When I'm working, he can call me or I can call him if we need something but usually I'm to busy to talk on the phone. It always happens that one kid will start screaming or crying as soon as I get on the phone. :lmao

Brian and I pretty much talk all day long. On google mail (is that igoogle Kristen?), texting, or on the phone.

We're pretty much attached at the hip :D

Shana, it's called Google talk...it's just Google's IM gadget(much like yim) I love it, except that the smilies don't work sometimes. :p

Yes, I can talk to him the day. He has his own line, but he never says I love you when he is there. :tears Other people can hear him! lol

Robin is usually near the computer most of the day so we chat through Google Talk several times a day. Plus he only works about a mile away so he comes home for lunch too.

we very rarely talk during the day. He does internet tech support, so I can't call him at work and he can't answer his cell phone since he's on his work phone! If there is something I really need to ask him or tell him, I text him and then he will call me or text me back on his break. I really don't have much free time at work myself to talk either.

If I really really need Dave during the day, I just go wake him up. That is extremely rare though, I would rather let him get his rest.

I can call him or stop by though we don't talk too often while he's working. We'll call if we need something and usually once or twice just to say hello.
The boys and I will stop by every now and then.

when he is on the afternoon shift he calls on his break to talk to the kids, otherwise no, unless it is an emergency.
