Now, I think I know what the answer for most women will be. Mine is an emphatic, "NO!" I looked (and felt) like Jabba the Pregnant Hut from seven months on.

Sorry-a pregnant friend of a friend has said she felt tres sexy in the first trimester, just like the stupid pregnancy books had said she would!, but now she hates the thought of it. Surprise, surprise. The only reason she is considering sex is to get that kid out-she's almost due.

Why is there such a myth in the first place?

I loved being pregnant and didn't mind at all my big belly but I didn't feel sexier. No one I know has said they did. But you read about women that do . . .

I felt very sexy while pregnant. I LOVE how I look pregnant. How I feel is another matter, but I look fantastic. I love the belly, and I love how round I get, and I just think I look wonderful. It made me feel very confident, and with both of the boys at least, I got very...um...randy...in the second trimester. Poor man was having to dodge me after a while. With the girlchild, my sex drive dropped, but out of three pregnancies, it was the only one that was like that.

I wasn't as interested in sex towards the end of pregnancy, simply because it was so difficult to find a comfortable position, but I still enjoyed it. I don't think I'm a freak woman or anything. I thought getting very interested in sex in the second trimester was fairly normal.

Not me. Except that I have more in the way of boobs while I'm pregnant. I'd much rather just have nursing boobs, though!

I felt cute, but not sexy. I did have amazing orgasms while I was pregnant, though, that seemed to last two or three times as long as normal.

In a way, I did feel sexier, but I think that was a body image issue more than anything. I wasn't so worried about fat parts. It gave me a sense of confidence to know that my body was being used in a way it was meant to, that it was growing in places because it was insulating an infant. :) It just made me feel more comfortable in my own skin.
Of course that didn't last. Dang. Now I just feel fat again.

Well I felt damn sexy LOL I adored how I looked and felt. The only thing that bothered me was my hair went nuts in the first trimester. In fact it was my first symptom. I could do nothing with it.

As for in the mood - I was another horny as hell pregnant lady. Then again, for the last 4 months, I was away from James for most of the week working LOL So come the weekends I was going nuts for some action. I was like that right up to the end. It even led to labour (I'm a total believer of sex bringing on labour when you are ready to go).

Up until I got to the huge and bloated stage I did feel quite sexy. It is the only time I could show off my tummy and not feel self conscious about it.

I adore how i look pregnant, in fact I'd go as far as saying it's the only time I've ever been entirely happy with my physical appearance.

Also David really does make me feel attractive too which helped but i think even if he hadn't I'd still have felt happy and confident, womanly and adored pregnant.

With Chase I was young, I still had a killer sex drive and it didn't dip at all, With Jude it vanished at the beginning because we were so worried about something going wrong, with Dyl I was tired with Jude being so tiny but still strong sex drive. With Loks it was a total nose dive because after 3 m/c in a row between Dylan and that pg I was so paranoid about anything going wrong. I still felt attractive though but had a massive psychological block on libido
