Pattern writing is a pain in the rear

Just a wee complaint. I always think I'm going to be faster at this than I am. I have a new free pattern up, and I had imagined I would have had it up months ago. As it was, when I buckled down and decided to finally finish it up, it took freakin' hours. I got up at 7 and was at work on it until 2 on the day I did most of the work for it, and then it was another day's work to do the damn chart and finish the writing. And this is far less math than usual, because I decided to write it as a customizable pattern.

Bah. Well, the good news is that the next pattern is essentially done, and all I need to do is to work out the charts to my own satisfaction. Wish me luck!

I can imagine that would be hard, especially for a pattern you can customize.

Aw, thanks, Lori! Now I just need to get the charts for my shrug uploaded and I'll be in good shape. I shouldn't complain, really, as no one is making me do it, but it's always so much more work than I expect.
