What are your preschoolers all about lately? Are they obsessive about anything? What are their favorite things to do?

They both like to look at pictures and watch videos about Sharks and Octopus on the computer.

Caleb loves to play outside.

They like playing their Vsmile too. And board games with Mommy :)

Thomas loves Little Einsteins and playing on the computer. He's also very into spelling right now, even though he has no idea how to do it. And he loves playing with cars.

Apparantly at preschool he plays with blocks all the time, but at home he's not that into his blocks.

Taj is all about his Leapster, he plays it constantly! I think we go through new batteries every two days or something, it's crazy, we have to take it from him to get him to stop playing it. Other than that, he still loves his Geotrax, he's been really in to them for 2 years now. He also loves making tents and "houses" out of blankets, pillows, chairs, etc.

Danielle is really into Dora and Diego. That's a sure fire way to get her to calm down. ;)

Michael's really into Peter Pan right now, and computer games, and spelling YMCA. He's also into vehicles although that isn't as obsessive as it used to be.

Danae's into Cinderella and playing pretend. I am either a baby, a dragon, or a mommy all day long. She's also really into singing and dancing.

Reanna is into Diego, her Leapster, any form of a card game (math rummy, go fish, old maid, crazy 8s), playing "teacher", and her computer time

Danae is into her 48 piece puzzle....she does it over and over and over again. She is into Mary Poppins...as in she watches it every day....not the entire thing, only as much as I allow her (it is a 2.5 hour movie).

Mira has been nuts about animals since she was a baby. Her first word was cat. She loves her collection of animal figurines, her Birds of Minnesota book and well, just about any book that has animals in it. Her favorite channel is Animal Planet. If this keeps up, she is going to be a vet.

Lottie lives for Dora The Explorer. I hate Dora The Explorer.

On the up side, she can now count to ten in Spanish.

Jo, Mira sounds like JZ! He is alllll about the animal figurines. We have a huge collection of Schleich animals and he's obsessed with them. I am constantly fishing wild animals out of my bed before I go to sleep, or out of the couch cushions so I can sit down. LOL His "daddy elephant" is a must at all times and then he has a rotating selection of other favorites that must accompany us everywhere, even just around the house. Woe betide us if the daddy elephant goes missing. He also loves animal books and anything on telly that involves animals.

On the plus side Madalyn also loves to play with the animals so it gives them something they can do together.

Xander is obsessive about drawing. And the drawing can involve either real paper and crayons/pens, his magna-doodle, making letters, making lists, etc. It doesn't matter the medium, he loves to draw.

His favorite things lately are making letters for people, putting them in envelopes (we probably go through a 100 pack of envelopes in 2-3 weeks here), putting a stamp (sticker) on them and passing them out. When he gives them to you, you have to sing the mailbox & letter song from Blue's Clues. :rolleyes

He also draws the Blue's Clues house, all the time.

Cristian is all about vehicles. Cars, trucks, airplanes. trains, boats....You get the picture. He can seriously play for hours on end with his cars. He also loves the movie Cars and would be in heaven watching that movie and playing with his cars. LOL He also loves the show Little Einsteins but doesn't get to watch it much because he's in school.

A few weeks ago Steve went on a intro trail flight with a flight school. Basically he got to go up and fly the plane for half an hour. We went(NOT in the plane as I have such an intense fear of heights I might vomit ;) ) But we got to watch the planes take off and land and Cristian was just in his element there.

Sophie got a lovely new play kitchen for Hanukkah and it is the love of her life. She's very interested in clothes and dress-up now and also likes fire fighters. We go to the fire station as often as possible and sometims they let her "drive" the truck.

She's learned all of the sounds her letters make, so we spend a lot of time sounding out words, although she doesn't totally "get it." She's starting to really grasp the concept though, and she loves books so much.

She really likes dogs and between stalking neighborhood dogs and tending her "babies" she is definitely exploring her nurtuting side. She also loves, loves, loves music. Right now all she wants to watch is Andre Rieu or Phantom of the Opera.

Charlotte's just discovered Thomas the Tank Engine and is now obsessed with trains of any kind.
