Do they ever seem jealous about your other friendships?

Um... not anymore. I did have that happen once though. My two best friends didn't know each other. One went to church with me and one was living in Honduras. When B (in Honduras) came to the States my friend from church gave her a BUNCH of crud! It was interesting. LOL

Not now, but it was horrible growing up. I had one friend who was jealous of everyone else. My other friends, boy friends, you name it.

NOt anymore. But I had a few issues with friends like that in HS. Actually I think one lady we stopped being friends with in Italy got jealous when I started hanging out with another girl there often too. But I am not sure.

I had a friend like that.
Her name was Mary and NO ONE ELSE was allowed to get close to me. It was a crazy friendship.
How I handled it -- well.
She and I went through a lot of hard times, we would be best of best friends, then break up (how pathetic) then get back together. One would have thought we were married LOL
I handled it eventually by ending the friendship, for good. She was far too possessive, envious, jealous.
I have learned to let these things go ;)
not so much my friends but my sister does sometimes feel a bit down or feel pushed out when i spend time with Davids youngest sister alot, she only lives down the road but my own sister is 250 mile away, Ellie has a son the same age as Dyl and will hace a new baby anyday now and we just have alot in common as mothers and people and sometimes i think my sister feels i am wrong for being as close to my SIL as i am her.
she never really says as much but she will act offish if i talk about time i've spent with Ellie.

I don't think so. Most of my close friends don't know each other. Most of them are from church/christian.

Not that I know of. But my best friend does LOL Another friend of hers is very jealous of our relationship and the fact that we have been friends since secondary school.

I have one friend like that. I actually have over the past two years gotten further and further from her. It was really insane when we were close. She was constantly mad at me because I was talking to someone else or something. She even got mad at me cuz we got a new vehicle!! It was very physco-ish. I am happy that we are distanced now.
I had a male friend who would go to great lengths to distance me from any other friends. I don't know if he was in love or just mentally ill. Probably a little bit of both because I haven't hung out with him in over 7 years and I hear he is still crazy.
I don't have many close friends, but as far as I know, they're not jealous of my other friends, nor am I of their friends.
My cousin (who is my best friend) did have a friend who hated me. She was a very toxic person, though, and thankfully they've cut ties, because my cousin is 100 times happier without the influence of that friend.
