I forgot to mention our great coupons!

So I get these great coupons from Lane Bryant a few times a year, where you get $15 off any purchase of $15 or more. I got one recently, and this weekend went there and got two pairs of underwear. They were regularly $12.50 a pair, but were 40% off, so were $7.50 a pair, which means I got them both for free!

And then Sean had a coupon for $20 off of a purchase of $20 or more at Casual Male XL, and he got 4 2-packs of socks, which were regularly $8 per 2-pack but were on sale, so all 8 pairs of socks came to $24.50, and he only had to pay $4.50.

We were very excited!

Ohhh, that is SO my kind of deal. I love those $15 off $15, or $10 off $10, because I am the kind of shopper that looks for things that are the amount of the coupon and little to no more. Stores loathe customers like me. :giggle

As an update, they sent me another of the same coupon, I checked the back and it didn't say anything about a limit of one per customer, so I went back and got a shirt for $4 that was regularly $36.50. It was 50% off and then I was able to use the coupon on top of that. It's red and shiny and I got it to wear to a holiday party and it's a bit flashier than something I'd normally wear, but I figured that for $4 I shouldn't pass it up. ;)
