I'm looking for something that can hold my normal purse stuff, at least one WIP and look more like a purse than a knitting bag.

So far, I'm leaning toward the Namaste Jetsetter (http://www.scoutsswag.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=20_23_27). On the main website, they show a green that I love, but it's not one of the color choices. I'm not thrilled with the look of it, although it does look like a purse and is the right size.

I'm totally in love with the look of the Amy Butler (http://www.amybutlerdesign.com/products/bags_detail.php) bags, but the price is hard to swallow.

I also loved the Jordana Paige Bella (http://www.jordanapaige.com/knittingbag_bella.html) bag, but it sounds like it's not as great as it looks!

I don't know! Help! Dave asked me what I want for Christmas and I really want a knitting bag and a book on sweater design. Any input would be really helpful!

Oh goodness- we just had knitting bag drama here the other night. I found one on Amazon that I liked, but it was from Jo-Ann, who just decided not to ship it and not to explain why or anything else so now dh is scrambling for something else to give me.
There's a company out here that makes some that I love, but I lost the website bookmark.

Heh, I'm no help. I tend to just hook my GoKnit pouch to my belt loop when I want to take my knitting with me.

The Namaste Jetsetter is the one I think is most attractive (I like the Rust and Brick Red), but I use a bag made by third world Catholics that my stepdad and mom got me through a mission sale. Is this (http://kpixie.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=90_257&products_id=3483) the green you like?

Scroll down to the Jetsetter and it's the color featured there. I don't see it anywhere. I really don't like the turquoise that they offer - just not me.

So get this... I spend all day shopping around in the city looking at bags. I went to a LYS, a luggage store and any other place that might sell bags and found nothing. I run into my mom and she finds out what I was doing and goes ballistic! She ended up giving me my Christmas present early - http://www.michaels.com/art/online/displayProductPage?productNum=nw0392&channelid=

The tote is in the lime green and brown combination that I love (big dots). It's a great tote bag, but it's a lot bigger than I wanted for everyday. I'm considering getting the Jetsetter and using both. :giggle

I actually kinda like the new one from KnitPicks (http://www.knitpicks.com/Total+Tote_ADTotalTote.html). If I were the purse-carrying type, I'd totally buy this one. As it is, my purse is basically a wallet with a strap. I don't like carrying around more stuff than absolutely necessary.

Oh, I do like that green, Christine! I'm not a fan of the turquoise either.

Lime green and brown dots sounds gorgeous!

And Sabrina, I like those new bags. Much more attractive than their old black ones.
