Eeek- new glasses day..

ok i have been walking around in a fuzzy haze for like the last 2 to 3 years- basically my eyes changed pg with Jude, have gotten worse each pregnancy after him- today i am biting the bullet and going to get my eyes tested and order my new glasses, have an eerie feeling i'll be told i need to wear them 24-7 now :rolleyes as mid twenties seems to be the age that's happened to every woman in my family (and i've been putting it off since mid twenties :lmao )

Shall return later to show you all what i got... (please pray i don't end up looking like my mother rewound 25 years as i already get enough nutters come up to me in town assuming i am her and i think the glasses would be final touch!)

now the deidre's were tempting Erika... i can't lie to you (as were the buddy holly's and the olive from on the buses... ohhh yes, all calling to me) found a nice pair of red cats eye style ones though that looked funky (and thought bugger it- not like i need sensible ones :lmao )

I have to go pick them up on monday so there will be photos then (and David will probably be rolling his eyes at my choice :lmao )

You are going to love having them. I didn't realize how bad my eyes were until I got glasses a few months ago. I have so much more energy and my headaches are totally gone. I can't wait to see your new specs!

Jo that is what i am hoping- it's only been the last month when i've been having mad migraine on and off that it's realised how much of an effect my eyes have had for around 12 months- at least 1 or 2 migraines a month if not more and escalating since Loki was born, really hoping these bring about the much needed pain relief!

I can't wait to see the pics!! I'm with Jo - I had no idea how much I *wasn't* seeing until I got my glasses a few years ago. Now I realize how awful my vision was. I love being able to see again!!

This is really stupid, but I love the look of eyeglasses so much that I'm always vaguely envious of those who need them. :o I know, I know. I shouldn't envy the need. But they look so neat! I can't wait to see pictures.
