Ok we have alot of christmas gift buying threads going on right now so I thought why not head over to the money saver and ask what is your best christmas buying bargain?

Do you have a link to it you care to share?

I have 2 right now...

firstly is a chenille/snowflake stretch scarf I was buying my sister- around $15 in tesco, I was in town in Primark (biiiig discount store) and I picked up an identical one for $4- it's perfect, not a second, just from a lower-end store and all but the tag it's identical! My sister will love it but would probably bury it in her yard if she ever found out it was $4 from primark :lmao

Secondly flannel PJ's for my youngest nephew - $6 from primark with little lizards all over them, they're gorgeous and $6!!!! How cool is that?

Hands down the best thing I've gotten so far, or will get, is the Webkinz. They are cheaper down here, to begin with, than they are in the city, and then the gift shop that sold them was closing down so I got them for 40%, meaning I paid about $6 each for them. Conversely, we were up in the city last week and I told the kids they could get one new one each and they were $15 apiece!

I decided on Thanksgiving day that I wanted to buy Dave the game Guitar Hero II. I found it the next day marked down by $20! So I bought the game and a guitar for $60.

Last year I got the best bargain ever. I snagged one of the spinning egg chairs at Ikea in the as-is section. I paid $6 for a $65 chair and the only thing wrong with it was a little smudge of dirt on the white pull down canopy. It must have been a display model I think. A year later, that chair is still one their favorite things.

Right after Christmas last year, I bought C & J some Leapster games for $3-$7 each! They are normally anywhere from $25-$35 and I NEVER see them on clearance, so I snatched up a bunch of them.

Taj's Batman Leapster game was only $5 on sale. All of the books we got them were really nice books and we got them really cheap at T.J Maxx.

I would say all my shopping at Kohls (online) the day after Thanksgiving. I had a free shipping code as well as a 15% off the total coupon to use in addition to the sales. Everything I got was at least %40 off... mostly 50-60% off. I spent $93 but I saved over $150! :)
