For some reason, Rai is tearing open her diapers .She isn't doing it at the tabs. She is ripping it open through the covering.

I talked to her teacher and we came up with putting her in leotards or bodysuits. But that would block her g-tube button. So I searched and found some on the internet that can be made with an opening for the button. Click on bodysuits on the left menu to see them.

Ouch that's a price and a half! Wouldn't be too bad if it was an item you can make do with just a couple of but when it's underwear and you need a few it gets pricey!

Could you do a skill swap with someone (or even just go for the all out sympathy vote and ask around until you can find someone who can do it for you?) the waterproof fabric I am guessing would be PUL fabric you buy for making cloth diapers? You can usually pick it up on ebay.

Yikes....that is a lot, especially if need to buy several so that you're not doing laundry every single day. I wonder if you could talk to some of our cloth-diapering people and get in contact with some of the women they know that do sewing. Maybe you could send them some bodysuits and they could modify them for you?
