Does anyone else feel that way about their SN child? you get over one thing, have a bit of a rest, then something else comes up even harder?

Ross has been having problems, getting better,we adjust to the problems then once we do something else comes up. We have been dealing with bad panic attacks,he had a break from them, then he had problems with his behaviour, got over that hurdle for obsessions to become a problem. He had a break from the obsessions and now we are dealing with illness, coughs, needing steroids and needing ear tubes put in for the 4th time.

I do, though I think in order to stay sane I try to say it's two steps forward and one step back. LOL But yes, when Liam has any improvement in one area, we lose in others. If he's growing physically or mentally, his behavior worsens. When he's doing well in school, as he is right now, he's often losing something at home; right now it is his ability to control his impulses. I do see that overall we're going forward, but some days are especially frustrating. :squeeze

:hugs I know that feeling well Sam. Sometimes it seems like a balancing act to try to help them. I hope he is feeling better soon..

hang in there Sam- winter is nearly over and hopefully the spring will bring with it better physical health and at least an end to the constant cough/cold/steroid situation
