View Full Version : Ouch I just had a tattoo
And so did Tom.
We were planning on getting our names written on our wedding ring fingers in shape of a wedding band but they advised against it because they go funny after a few years so Tom got Love written down his arm in black and 60's style writing,I haven't seen it yet as we have to wait an hour until we can take the bandage off. He also had my name blow it.
I had a lion cub,he is very cute but a lot bigger then I expected it to be.
I have another tat and this one hurt a lot less but ouch it is stinging now. I will take pictures of them both tonight :)

How awesome. I'm so jealous, I haven't had new ink in years. I have my next ones planned, but just haven't done it.

Waaaa I want a new tat, it has been soooo long!!!
Good to know about around the finger going funny though, that is something I had considered. Is it becuase the hands are used so much?

:lmao me too- since pre-ttc jude in fact, have David's friend Phil working on a nice tribal for my back and my sister went :eek as she chose me a backless bridesmaids dress... will that put me off? no chance :guilty :lmao
The inlaws hated them both LOL mine is a cute one,I always think I will get something pretty but the cute animals always win me over. I had actually planned for my U2 tattoo but that will be done in a few mths time now.
MIL especially didn't like Toms,him does look a bit odd because it is very raised due to the skin still being sore but I know when it is healed I will love it. He loves it too but everyone round the IL's just went "hmm ouch" LOL

Sam look on the bright side they must like you or they'd have sucked teeth and gone "ohhhh you should never have names" :lmao (like my friends in laws did when her dp got her name done - ohhhh yeah, that made for a great start to their life as grandparents of her children!)
I have the major problem my dad makes tattooing machinery and therefore every tattooist in our town is his bestest best friend :rolleyes and has an opinion
my MIL with David is always "you can have it but don't show me" on piercings and tattooing - she's fine with anyone else having them but not her baby boy... all 20-odd stone of hippy-him :rolleyes (although she was the first to spot that BIL's scorpian has one too many legs :lmao )
How cool! I want to get a new one but it probably won't happen for a while. I have one from when I was a teenager that I would love to have redone. Someday...

Mine really hurt on my right shoulder. It is also larger than I thought it would be, but a little late now haha
