I saw Dreamgirls on Thursday in the cinema. It was alright but the story wasn't the best. It was too rushed and there wasn't enough character development.
Last night, we watched Saw 3 on DVD. We were fans of the first movie (to a degree.) Saw 3, however, was an awful movie. It was all about violent gore and torture and precious little about story and development. I disliked it intensely and can't believe I wasted a Saturday night watching it.

I watched Blood Diamonds in the theater last. Pretty decent, if a bit heavy-handed with the preaching of its points and the violence. Between this and The Departed (highly recommended if you can stand some Tarantino-like violence), I've gained a new respect for Leonardo, previously resigned to "pretty boy only" in my mind in the past.
Don't remember the last movie I saw at home, though I am planning to rewatch The American President and/or Pride and Prejudice (BBC) tomorrow. I'm craving some good dialogue and romance with no violence!

ahh! I just love me some Pride and Prejudice. The BBC adaptation is just fabulous. You just can't beat the smouldering looks between Lizzie and Darcy (not to mention the famous pond diving scene!) :wink

I love Christian Bale. I saw Empire of the Sun years ago. Good movie.
cinema it was Open Season back in October when we took chase and some friends for her birthday (why oh why does my daughter invite male friends only?)
at home it was Walk the Line (and now i have Folsom prison blues stuck in my head- ohhh fabulous- looked like a nutter in tescos walking around singing that one i can tell you)
not been to the cinema in such a long time as we don't have one in our town, public transport will not run into my neighbourhood after 6pm (no joke!) and we have no car so we have to wait for friends/family to go and offer us a ride

Last movie I saw at home was The Guardian.
I haven't been to the movies in years. It is quite possible the last movies I saw there was Passion of the Christ
The most recent movie I saw at home was The Prize Winner from Defiance, Ohio.

Geez the last movie I saw at the theatre was Barnyard with my kids LOL. Other than kid movies it was My SuperEx Girlfriend over the summer with my sister.
The last movie I watched at home was The Guardian which was awesome. :D Dh and I watched it together. I think part of the reason it was so interesting to me though was that Tim did the Search and Rescue Swimmer School for the Navy and he had to do alot of the same stuff so I got to see what he was doing that whole time. He started it a week after Dylan was born. The end made me cry. :tears

Krysten and I went and saw The Messengers on Tuesday. The best thing about it was that I got some knitting done. It wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, but it definitely wasn't that good.
I don't remember the last movie I saw at home.
At home- I slept through most of Pirates of the Carribean today if that counts.
Cinema- Charlette's Web. I can't even remember the last adult movie I saw at the theater.

I think the last movie I saw in the theater was Happy Feet, but I didn't get to see all of it because the toddler decided she wanted to dance in the aisles.
The last movie I saw at home was probably The Good Earth.
