My little one is bright as a button. She has been lifting her head up since she was 3 days old, is very alert and always has been and is interested in everything. She sat up at 4.5 months and loves playing with her percussion instruments (and quite musically too). However, she refused to roll. Nope, wasn't interested and if I tried to encourage her, she'd scream.

Well today we were on the ground and I was rolling her with the blanket. And what should happen, she FINALLY rolled over by herself. Then she giggled and did it again :lmao

Now she never has to do it again. I just wanted to see her do it once LOL

(next thing is crawling. She is crying with frustration at the fact that she hasn't got the hang of that yet. So you never know, in the next while she could be whizzing around the room on her hands and knees)!

ohhhh she'll be off soon you know (Jude was same- expressed extreme discontent at total inability to crawl and took around 1.5 weeks to figure it out and start army-crawling around the lounge)

WTG Sasha!!! (you keep mommy on her toes )

WTG Sasha! Keep your eyes open. Once they figure this stuff out, it all happens so fast!

Thanks girlies.

Beka - she is already scootching around (slowly) and can turn her body in circles. it is hilarious. Right now she is also using her hands to pull herself forward (that was what she was learning this morning).

:clap. Way to go Sasha. That is fantastic. She will learn things so fast you won't believe it Erika. Enjoy the days where she is still immobile and can't get into things they don't last long LOL
