View Full Version : Smaller than average kids?
Do you have kids that are on the petite side? Do you get comments?

Sonia is very tiny(and Zoe is pretty large...thus the "mush-mush" nickname in my siggy! LOL), so sometimes people think that the two of them are REALLY close in age, when they are actually 2 years apart. They both weight the same...Sonia is just taller.
Yes,Ross is 7 and a half and weighs 38 pounds. The other two boys are tiny too.
I have had a lot of comments about Ross in the past from little old ladies who liked to tell me that I had to feed him :nannybooboo I do not get as many as I used too because even though he is very underweight he looks healthy with it.

Yes all three of mine were small for their age for awhile. Dylan has seemed to grow out of it now though. Caleb still gets people who think he is small for his age. And people are surprised when I say Izzy is over a yr old. (though really it seems Caleb was smaller at her age)

Sasha is apparently small for her age. Her nn in our baby group is "dolly" because she is much smaller than the rest of them. Other mothers have been amazed that she is nearly 6 months as they thought she was closer to 4 months. She was 6Ibs 11 at birth and I think she is around 14-15 pounds now.
that said, she has gotten quite long in the past week or so and is now 68 inches long (which is about right). So she is longer and skinny. James' family are all tiny so right now she seems to take after their side.
psst Erika...did you mean 68 centimeters?:giggle
Both Mira and Laura are tiny. I just get frustrated at how many people ask if they were preemies. No..there just happen to be some small kids in this world.
