Do you know anyone who has had a V-reversal done?

What was the end result?

A friend of mine had it down. Said it was a little more painful than getting the v done in the first place. They got pregnant within 3 months and his doctor said that was unheard of.

I have a friend who had a V for YEARS, divorced, remarried and many, many years into their marriage had it reversed. It took some time but the end result was a little boy. ;)

I know 2 fellas who had reversals to have children with their younger second wives, and neither was successful.

I know a friend of ours who did it. He said it was pretty painful. I don't know how much they actually tried because he and his wife ended up divorcing before a baby ever came.

Didn't Mandy or Manda or one of the 20ish girls have it done? Or was that a ladies reversal?

:dunno

my uncle has 21 YEARS between his 4th and 5th children as the result of V-reversal, his family was complete v.young then at 50 the urge of "family not complete" hit and result is my cousin Jess- she was born with 2 nephews and 1 niece older than her

I have an on-line friend who married someone and he had a v-reversal. It didn't work, so they went on to have two donor sperm babies. After baby #2 they dropped their maternity insurance...only to find out that they were pregnant again! So, the reversal really did work...it just took some time. Their little guy is going to be 2 this fall.

I really don't know how hypothetical this is .... its just something we have been talking about...and not anytime soon.

I really do think J would have age on his side on this one too Jenny, a massive issue with my uncles reversal was his age and the ammount of time which had passed since his original surgery (which was no where near as kind as it is now) I also think you should consider the frozen option too, however if that were to fail it would be potential $$$ that could have paid for part if not all of the reversal surgery.

I am aware my uncle was placed on medication- hormonal ones- after his surgery to try and help with things kicking back in but i think that was largely due to the time scale again and his age.

well...we don't know where his frozen friends are ;) His contract expired and we moved so many times since living at the address they had. WE keep wanting to find out where they are, but we hope they are destroyed if they aren't around anymore

ewww swimmers in transit- you know not something they warn you about needing to give a forwarding address is it! I know here if you do not renew contracts of storage they are automatically destroyed as they need writen permission to use them else where for insemination or experimental research.
