We did the sonogram and showed me to actually be 19 weeks and 6 days ( not 2 days). They said everything looked really good and we actually got a couple of good pictures of the face.
Oh, and I found out that we are having a........
GIRL!!!! :love :cloud9
awww big congrats, glad to hear it all went well and all is healthy! My 20 week scans have all been pretty accurate date wise as all 4 arrived in week 39 according to the date given by the scans.
Do you have many more appts between now and due date? (in England we don't have a great deal of appts with 2nd+ babies)

I will have a monthly appointment until the last couple of months. Then it is bi-weekly and weekly. I will also have another sono in 2 months.
How often do u do it over there?

:hugs
Congratulations!!! How exciting!
Here for my second pregnancy I think i had 2 scans and a booking appt (15 weeks) a 21 week appt, a 26 week appt, a 32 week appt, 36 week, 38 week and then i gave birth to him before my 30 week one, with my third i had one less than that as i forgot one (ooops!) and with my 4th i had around 3 million appts (ok slight exaggeration it was more like 15 or so) because they suddenly decided having 4th child with my kidneys would push my body over the edge (which it didn't!)
The majority here have midwife led care though and you do get more appts with first baby. I had the luxury of just having to walk down the road around 10 minutes to be able to see my MW at the local centre which was nice- I have had the same midwives for 3 full pregnancies and one that ended at 12 weeks, however it's potluck (pool of around 30) as to which midwife you get in labour!

OT but Beka, I had the same structure of appointments for my FIRST baby. That said, I did have some with my GP and then with the GD clinic due to the PCOS and also with the blood clinic. SO I suppose I did end up seeing lots of doctors at the end.
Ironically, my friends who do the midwife only care end up having more appts than me. And an earlier scan appt.
