Do you have any background noise at work? Music, Radio, TV, talk radio, customers?
Do you feel you need the noise or would you prefer quiet?

It depends on my mood or if the kids are doing school or not. Sometmes it's nothing, sometimes it's soft piano music and sometimes it's my favorite songs on my ipod. :D
I can do prep work with background noise (music, talking, even TV), but I need complete silence when I grade. It's something I hate doing, so if there is anything to distract me, I'll let it distract me.
I usually have the radio or TV on at work. Otheriwse it is way to quiet!

Well, my work is noisy! :giggle I teach piano students, so it is never quiet while I'm working.

Depends on the task.
When I'm doing Tech Screens, I can have music going, which I always do.
For Voice Auditions or actual live interviews, I need silence :)

If I am in the office....no background noise, unless you count my number of conference calls throughout the day.
If I am at home...my itunes
