I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in doing a weight loss challenge for the month of September?
It would combine logging in our chosen diets (low carb, moderate carb, low fat, South Beach, etc), daily exercise, medications taken (metformin, etc). Shared weekly dinner menus might also be helpful, especially if they can serve your family as well.
Anyone game? I'm perfectly happy to make a pdf. format sheet for it for everyone!

Definately in. I ODed on sugar on my holidays and that is BAD BAD BAD for me with PCOS.
SO I'm in. Will be on the GI diet (works best for me) that tends towards the PCOS diet (stricter version of GI). Taking no meds as of now so purely doing this on diet with increase in physical activity :)

How does beginning next Monday sound? Which type of diet and/or exercise will you be doing?
I'm starting Stroller Strides-finally. And moderate carbing. No more than 30 grams of carbs per meal. (Oh, hard cider, how I'll miss you....)

Next Monday sounds great. I just started yet another heavy period so I'm in no mood to start today :giggle

I'm in for next Monday, too. I am not on any meds right now, will be using diet and exercise.
I walk three days a week for 80 minutes a time (preschool and back), and will be doing yoga on the alternate days. I am taking supplements and will be going no gluten, no dairy and no sugar, which my body seems to function best on.
