I figured this is something we ALL need to vent about while we're going through it, and who is going to be as excited as you that your wee one pooped in a pot, or as despairing as you when the poop was on the carpet, as another parent? So go ahead and rant and rave here.

And here's my vent for the day, or possibly brag, I'm not sure. Eleanor has been so much easier to potty train than her brothers. In fact, I'm not really training her. She's training herself, and I can't complain much, because at 21 months, she's most of the way trained. BUT (there's always a but, isn't there?) she can't seem to get the hang of panties, and lately she's regressed a bit. For some unknown reason she stays dry at night, and has, in fact, stopped wearing a diaper to bed. She's gone a little more than a week this way with nary an accident, but she's become careless during the day of late, and in fact, today she peed on a chair even though she was naked (no need to pull off pants) and sitting only a few feet from her potty chair. I'm going to pick up some potty prizes in a bit and try actual training, but it can be so frustrating when you take that step back.
We've put potty-training on hold. I wish we were working on it, but Thomas has absolutely no interest, so it requires us to keep dragging him to the potty to see if he has to go. He really doesn't seem able to tell yet when he needs to go. So, we're giving it some time. I really hope he takes an interest soon, though.

Well my toddler is only 15 months so not quite to the potty training stage. Right now I am working on Caleb (3) He has been training himself since before his 3rd bday but still wore pull ups until now. And was pretty inconsistent with when he goes. Just does when he feels like it. But the last two days he wanted to wear undies and has been dry the whole time :woot Hopefully this will be the end of diapers for him. :D

Aidan has been doing wonderfully!
We started about a month ago and he has had an accident here and there but over all is doing great. Our main issue is him keeping his penis pointed down.:giggle

I don't even remember how to change a diaper :) My girl practically trained herself in one weekend almost a whole year ago... Yep, a month before her 2nd bday, she was good to go. The only think I have to worry about now is keeping her out of my bathroom sink where she likes to gather her undies and wash them so she can hang them on my doorknobs :lmao

LOL Anika, that is cute. Malachi also trained in a weekend, his was a week before his 2nd birthday. He is really good at it, but we do have accidents. His favorite thing to do is flush the toilet. You hear him in there flushing about 20 times before he comes out. LOL

Gavin just turned 2 in Dec. and he wants nothing to do with it. He wants to run around naked but refuses to go on the potty. I've tried the little potty chair but he hates it. He seems like he wants to go standing up like Taj does on the regular toilet so I've got a stool for him to stand on but he still won't go. I'm not pushing it right now, he just doesn't seem ready yet.

The first week we got the potty, Katherine peed on it three times a day. Now she says she needs to pee when really she just wants to take all her clothes off. She is perfectly horrified at the thought of pooping on the potty. The other day I caught her in the bathroom stuffing wads of toilet paper into the the toilet while clapping her hands and yelling, "Yay! Peepee!". There was no peepee.
