View Full Version : Do you read "conservative Christian" in this?

Investigators described them as members of a right-wing fundamentalist group called the “New Crusaders” who don't believe in separation of church and state. The mock gunmen went to the school seeking justice because the daughter of one had been expelled for praying before class."

Not at all. When I think of conservative christians, guns and barricades are the opposite. I would expect that from the wacky WAY far out groups.

No. That has no more to do with Christianity than Fred Phelps or David Koresh.
I don't get the whole situation. I'm mostly annoyed that this story is perpetuating the false idea that children can be expelled for praying in school, particulary for praying before class! That is completely untrue. It seems like the people who put this on understand very little about church-state issues, if they believe that could be an actual scenario.
