They're small, they're feisty, and they're busy as can be. And just plain weird.

Case in point. I'm sitting and typing something out this morning, and 21 month old Nora marches in and begins babbling away about poop. I ask her if she needs to poop. No, she says, very definitely, shaking her head. Well, OK. You just want to talk about poop? YEAH! Huh.

What's something weird your toddler's done recently?

Nora must have been out having dinner with us tonight. The amount of talk about poop was overwhelming (and I am a teeny bit embarrassed to say that I was one of the main instigators LOL). I would have laughed for days if anyone would have told me I would talk so much about poop after having a baby.

Sasha is far from being a toddler - but she does love singing to herself :)

LOLI'm sure poop made for some interesting conversation!

Last night, everytime we asked Gavin if he would like to hold the baby, he would scream "No baby!" and start crying. He'll talk to him and kiss him, but the thought of holding him makes him burst in to tears??!!

LOL Nice! No talk of poop here. Just Cars...EVERYTHING is about Cars.

Thomas does weird things all the time. Lately he wants to copy things he reads in books. For dinner last night he insisted on eating bread and jam, because of Bread and Jam for Frances. Today he told me he wanted to have a tea party with Christopher Robin, because I had made scones and we agreed Christoper Robin would probably like them. Right now he's playing dino parade with Sean, which involves marching around the house banging things.

He also puts Elmo in time out very frequently. We have no idea why. That's between him and Elmo.

I just remembered a really weird thing he said on Friday. We were at the grocery store, and he put his hand on the belt at the register and said, "Mama, will you buy my hand? It's only thirteen bucks!"

I bought it, obviously. I mean, how could you pass up a human hand for $13? ;)

Isabella's new thing is making me babysit her dolls. I guess she decided she does not need to wait to have her own human kids to take advantage of Mom. :lmao All day long I have dolls piled around me where ever I am and if I try to move them or put them up she has a fit.

So today Thomas ran around the house for a while with one of those Valentine's Day heart sugary candy pieces, telling me, "This is my friend! This is my coconut flavor friend!" (And those things are not coconut flavored.)

And then he decided to eat it, and started yelling at me, very upest, "I'm eating my friend!"

So either toddlers are weird or I've got a particularly crazy one. :giggle

Today, as we were riding down the road, Katherine sat in her carseat parade-waving to the cows and farmland we passed.

Brayden threw up today (reflux) and then spent the next hour asking "What happened?" over and over and over. Then he got over it and started playing Cars with Cailin's Littlest Pet Shop toy :huh
