View Full Version : It is sooo cold here right now..
they are closing schools for tomorrow already. High is supposed to be 5 but a -20 windchill. My sisters kids are closed. Right now Robert has a 2hr delay but I'll besureprised if it stays that way.
Now if only my work would close LOL

It is like that here too. Really, really cold. I don't think they've ever closed schools for the cold here.

All the schools here have a 2 hour delay for tomorrow right now, I don't know if they'll close or not. It's FREEZING out!

My boys were really bummed that our schools are open... the weather is reporting -7 too... One walks, the other takes the bus. Even if I wanted to drive my son, the car would never warm up in time...
Thomas' school was closed, and all of the schools in the area are. I was so so so so so tempted to cancel my class, but I have some students who have a long commute, and I didn't want them to come to campus and not have anyone here. So I've got about six students today and we're all in the library, where they're just working on their papers.

They closed schools here too. But of course my children did school today. :giggle Can't get away from homeschooling that easy.

We just had a 2 hour delay today but schools are already cancelled here for tomorrow. It is freezing out!
right now there is a delay for tomorrow but Ill be surprised if they have school since its not supposed to be any better.

Same here... then again, us Canadians are a hearty sort :D.
School's here were already cancelled for tomorrow. I realize it's cold, but I really didn't know it was THAT cold.

It is fairly cold here as well but so sunny at the same time. It really is beautiful and we had our first light snowfall this morning. I have never seen my husband get so excited over snow as he did get this morning introducing Sasha to it!

It was -6 with a winchill of -20. we are suppose to get to 8 today LOL
