or at least you don't want them to do something just to rebel offer it to them LOL

Conversation my mom had with Chase the other day...

MY MOM- "But you don't want any piercings like that do you" (was on TV)
ME- "She can have them if she wants"
CHASE- "I don't want them"
ME- "What about your belly button?"
CHASE- "No, it's okay"
ME- "Tattoo? Purple hair?"
CHASE- "Mooooooom... i am happy being me but maybe pink hair... but only if it washes out before school"
ME (to my mother) "See offer it to them and it loses the appeal"

:lmao yep i can happily say my 4 kids are going to be pretty mainstream as i am fast learning most kids only want these things doing to rebel and when they can have them done they lose their rebelious taboo LOL

Ohhh yes- i have this parenting thing down to a T!

:rofl My mom does that stuff too! I have always been like you and just thought if you say its ok it loses the appeal! LOL
