My best friend Wanda's daughter -- and my daughter's best friend - Julie - is currently on Day 4 of a hospital stay
She has asthma. It hasn't really ever been an issue (except for one time when she had croup at age 4), but it really is now.
She is in the hospital with pneumonia AND a collapsed lung. They've tried a few different things -- but right now they have reduced her oxygen a bit and her pulse/ox levels went WAY down when they did this, so she is off for more x-rays
I have been spending about 3 hours per day in the hospital with Wanda and Julie. A couple of things to pray for, please.
1. Her recovery, obviously.
2. Strength for Wanda. She is basically doing this ALONE, as her stupid ex-husband is too busy with his new fiancee to drop by much to see his daughter, let alone help out his ex-wife :shakehead
3. Joy for Julie. She is just so sad, and really missing her friends and daily life. Yesterday when I went she just cried and told me how sad she is I am bringing Rachel again today to hang out for a few hours, and that makes her happy but you know what? NONE of her other friends have been to visit, or have even called to see how she is doing :(
I think that about covers it. I will give an update when we know a bit more about WHY she's not getting any better
