I think that Israel's treatment of Palestine is wrong, but I'm not sure I'd make the leap to compare it to apartheid, simply because the context it grew out of is so vastly different from the context that apartheid grew out of.
I do think it's a shame that frank discussions of the way Palestinians are treated by Israel are so often silenced or dismissed as somehow anti-Semitic. Everybody is aware of and willing to admit the terrible things that Palestinians have done to Israelis, but until the suffering of the Palestinians and the horrible things they've had done to them are let out in the open, admitted, and apologized for, I don't know how much progress can be made.
