If you're TTC or planning on TTC, what are you most looking forward to about being pregnant? What are you least looking forward to?

If you've been pregnant before, is there anything you plan on doing differently this time?

I'm looking forward to just being pregnant and getting a baby at the end of it. LOL I'm not looking forward to how much I'm going to worry. I'm a worrier by nature, and I can imagine that will carry over if/when I get pregnant!

The things I really enjoyed were feeling the baby move and having so many really nice, kind encounters with people who normally wouldn't stop to talk. I'm a very social person by nature, and I loved how friendly people were when I was obviously pregnant. So, I'm looking forward to that.

Thomas is really into babies right now, and I think he'll be very excited when I get pregnant again, so I'm looking forward to that, too.

I am NOT looking forward to not being able to sleep. Having two nights of not being able to sleep made me realize how much I enjoy a good night's sleep and reminded me of how uncomfortable and miserable I was at night toward the end of the pregnancy.

The thing I definitely want to do differently is to exercise consistently. I think I made a mistake last time because I had been doing about 45-60 minutes of aerobics a day before I got pregnant, and I tried to keep that up afterwards. I was so exhausted and nauseated the first trimester that that was impossible, and I ended up giving up completely, and then just lost motivation. This time I plan to be more realistic and to do about 20 or 30 minutes of easy exercises every day, so that I can stay consistent without pushing myself to the point where I feel worse.

But I think I'm almost at the point where there's more I'm looking forward to when I'm pregnant again than I'm dreading. ;)

I look forward to being round and pretty - I love how my pregnant body looks - but that's about it. I don't much like being pregnant. I love the babies, and I think I look pretty awesome, but I spend a lot of time very uncomfortable when pregnant. I also worry a lot. I'm trying to think what I like the least, and it's a bit of a blur. I hate vomiting. I hate ligament pain. I hate feeling strained and not sleeping and I hate sciatica. I think my pregnancies tend to be slightly rougher than average, though. I always find the newborns to be very easy as a result, and I think that's my trade off.

I look forward to the wonder of it all, the excitement and expectation. Telling my husband, telling my family, seeing the movements on ultrasound, seeing the kicks on my belly. Experiencing the closest thing to a miracle that I'll ever be a part of.

Not looking forward to the worry--I've seen the bad side up close and personal, and every twitch and twinge is going to make me crazy! Not thrilled about the impending physical aches and pains. Terrified of actually giving birth because I know too much; I feel I should do it "perfect" and know there is no such a thing. Also, gonna miss my sleep!

I can imagine that's going to feel really amazing- having your own completed family and knowing you're helping someone else start a family they'd never have without you.
